Battery Test Update

This result from " Original Battery Test Post dated Jan. 24-2019 "

December 18, 2018 4:15pm
Loaded a pair of LED candles with new alkaline AA batteries.
One candle with Energizer AA, Dated 12-2026 Made in USA, purchased
through Groupon (worked out to 51 cents each plus tax.)
One with Dick Smith AA, Dated 07-2020G Made in China, from Princess
Auto (on sale $6.49 for a package of 40, works out to less than 16
cents each plus tax.)
Will leave them on continuously and see which dies first.

Both candles just barely flickering when I went to bed.

Feb. 17, 2019 7:30am
Both candles were out. 60 days @ 24 hrs./day + ~8 hrs. = 1448 hours

For all intents and purposes, 32 cents worth of Chinese Dick Smith
batteries provided the same amount of energy as $1.02 worth of
Energizer batteries.

In an LED candle yes, but now test a Digital SLR, or a set of FRS/FMRS Radios.

The test's purposes amounts to a test between a grade 5 kid and a person with a Master Degree in Engineering to see which one can color between the lines.

There is little to no possibility of failure on the part of either subject.

Why do you find it necessary to slander a person you do not know?

F Y I . The man is retired from the navy, Electronics Branch
After navy went to University , Graduated with an Engineering Degree in Electronics
Was employed as an Engineer- Electronics now totally retired
He did this test to satisfy his own curiosity and for his own reasons , non other, other than to test how long the batteries would last in THAT application.
Now as you sit there with your move open and foot in it , take a big bite, some of your remarks can get you into serious trouble !

I have no doubt you can walk and chew bubble at the same time, but your excitement over the test results are out of proportion.
It's understandable that for an led candle a cheap low draw battery works just fine.

Serious Trouble? You going to give me the hairy eyeball? It is not the test I find funny, it is your reaction.

Draw me a " Wien Bridge Oscillator ", a "Crystal Oscillator, a "Hartley Oscillator ", a "Colpitts Oscillator ", and a "Phase-shift Oscillator".

It is because you are slandering a friend of mine who I have known for 50 years.
Perhaps you think some of your comments are funny, but they are the exact opposite.
It is best to keep ones comments to ones self in many cases.
You seem to have a very serious and large chip on your shoulder.
