last August I installed new Helix 7 on my boat. turned unit on after launching and everything was a go ,after a short time my wife noticed a water spray coming in boat.I had transducer a little low,I turned transducer up stopping the spray into the boat.I did not turn unit off. O..nce at fishing spot I put transducer down but didn't get contours only depth reading ,which was 1400 feet plus.I did not get out again,but would like any input as how to fix my problem .
