Oh just another tag issue . . .
I wasn't going to post about this, but my annoyance peaked yesterday afternoon.
Saturday night I went online to get a second turkey tag. Click the link for the tag to load in Adobe. Adobe opens but no tag, I waited about 5-10 minutes. A second window in the browser also opened. Neither Adobe or the second browser window contained a tag. Bit of a head scratcher so I closed everything and logged out. Logged back in and it says I printed the tag. WTF!!!! here I am, Saturday night, can't hunt now on Sunday or Monday. (lesson learned I guess - get your tags during business hours if you want to hunt immediately)
Yesterday afternoon I call the help line around 3 pm, higher then normal call volume they say. So I stay on hold. Drive from downtown Toronto to Sunderland (home), still on hold. Its about 4:15 now. Screw this, ill drive to Service Ontario in Lindsay, while on hold, I go pick my son up from daycare and head to Lindsay. There about 4:40 pm. Still on hold. I stay on the phone, go into service Ontario, get a tag printed, sign their declaration form stating they issued a new tag and I'm on route back to Sunderland by 4:55. I hung the phone up at this point . . .
What a gaggle over a turkey tag.
