I think my Honda 2000 watt inverter is cheaper to buy and cheaper to run than my F150. More versatile too.
Its an inverter not a generator.
Not a bad idea for cases where you need a use something like a power tool while working of the grid. No need to carry a generator and gas etc.
I don't understand. How is this different from the inverters already on the market?

I have a couple of them, 750w and 800w units. Just clip them on to the battery and go. If you are using it for a while just keep the vehicle running and the alternator will generate enough to keep the battery from dying when you use the inverter.
