American hunting shows

Does anyone bother watching those American hunting shows? I find them totally ridiculous, it looks like they're hunting on deer farms. I don't really get why they seem so excited to get a buck when it's basically handed to them, almost makes me laugh.
I think that it would be like hunting at the African Lion safari.

to each their own..If I was a millionaire Id buy and manage a nice farm and invite my friends to shoot big bucks there too...do I watch these shows? no... if you are into real world blue collar hunting check out "the hunting public" channel on youtube

Americans know how to manage their game. Cant speak for the rest of Canada, but Ontario definitely needs help! And soon

The only one I watch is Meat Eater. It's nothing like what you describe.

There are a lot of deer farm type shows. Then there are the guided but wet boots, living in camp and have not washed in four days type.

The waterfowl ones seem to be the worst. They say it's a one day hunt, but the color of the trees/grass changes between green and dry brown is 12 hours.


At least there are a few honest guys when it comes to the deer farm one's.

Yes, which is why I like it. I agree with the OP about the other types of shows - they just aren't realistic.

x2 on the hunting public. These dudes hunt in thrift store camo and drive around in basic vehicles just to chase game on public land. way more relatable lol

I watch Wild TV and the Sportsman Channel some are just for entertainment and others are real life, it is easy to pick out the real ones

I find hunting shows to be like adult entertainment videos, I don't want to watch anyone else doing it. I would much prefer be the one doing it!
