The water levels for Lake Erie are already at record levels and this is before all of the water that will be added with the big thaw and rain in the forecast. There are a number of homes near Erieau where the people have been evacuated due to the danger of a protective dike failing.
All if the other Great Lakes are facing similarly high water levels right now. I suspect this spring it will be hard to find boat launches that are not submerged.
My pond already has green algae growing in it I can’t just imagined be what Lake Erie will be like this summer. Mud line is out for miles at times from bluff erosion and the lake had been relatively calm wait till spring storms 20”+ up now

People; they are deliberately mismanaging the watershed on purpose to support Climate Change and floods scare mongering. Why else has this been an issue until the last 3 yrs, in Renfrew/Madawaska we had lakes dry, rivers at record low levels (upper watershed) because of outflow mismanagement of the eastern Ontario watershed.
Last summer on the St Lawrence the waters remained high all summer, never seen before in 10 yrs I have been on the river. It is mismanagement to support climate change program of fear.

Yep and there is plenty of snow up in the north. That's all got to melt still has been falling since October. As we enjoy the warm here it's still currently minus 1 way up north it Still has lots to melt over a month

You tell me can they regulate the amount of water that goes over the falls.
Or are the turbines been taking off line somewhat for wind mills equal less water than after leaving upper lakes

Last six years something has changed rain and snowfall isn’t up that much
Maybe Erie will rise another 30 to 60 feet, then my Mother in Law will have beach front property..:joker:
Maybe Lake Erie will rise 90’ and mother in-law will move in with you!
