Go to that public land before 1st light and listen for them.... If the first spot doesn't produce (gobbling birds off the roost) try a different spot the next day.... Keep in mind, that they don't necessary gobble every morning so you may have to go back to the same spot a few times before you know whether birds are there or not....
Basically get there before dawn and listen for them to sound off (gobble)... You should be able to hear them sound off (gobble) off the roost from a km or so away if it is calm out...
Boots to the ground :)
Look through Ontario Out of Doors issues and do a search here. There is a lot of information online and videos on YouTube. Actually you might get a lot of responses with people at home.
Since your in London
Depends how much you want to spend I recommend going to forest city surplus and getting a gillies poncho or suit
Tell us something about yourself
Will do!
Watch "The Hunting Public" on youtube, and really listen to what Aaron and Zach say. Tons of information to absorb in their turkey tours.
The only way to find where Turkeys might be is boots in the field looking around. You will first need to locate some land you can hunt on.
