Hello,
I know that rifles are not allowed to be used in zone 65 for big game. However, I was wondering if we can use a .22 on small game in this zone?
I did read the regulations, and with the wildlife offices closed, I just want to make sure.
Otherwise, what do you guys use for rabbits/squirrels? I know the season is not opened until the fall.

Yes, you can use a .22 for small game like squirrels and rabbits or grouse. Just keep in mind the distance a 22 bullet can travel if your shooting squirrels in trees.
You can always hunt squirrels over a peanut feeder like this.

I use just a tray so that I don't shoot holes in the feeder.
Yes you can use a 22, but as snowwalker said remember that bullet will travel further then shot.
You can also use any CF for varmints again remember that bullet can travel a long way.
