Does anyone know if there is still fur pick-ups as per the Fur Harvester schedule?
Was planning for an April 15th (Bancroft), 25th (Orangeville) or 26th (Alliston) locations to drop off.
It is unfortunate with global events and do see the need of social distancing, so not surprised if cancelled this year.
Would also like to get the furs out of the garage and to where they can be put to good use.
Please share any info regarding status of spring 2020 Ontario fur pick-up's.
All fur pickups are cancelled. There's a link on the Fur Harvesters page that mentions this dating back to March 19th. I've read about a few that shipped their fur with Canada Post.
Have mine in the freezer now ( first time freezing). FHA was talking about possibly having an auction in September. If they could run the fur pick up routes Early August.

Just out of curiosity, are the furs tanned already? Or just been skinned out? I'd like to get a few furs, and try my luck at a hat, are mitts etc. I'll pay whatever the market would be, or just above, to make it worth your while.
We managed to get hold of Mark Taylor at FHA. There is nobody there to receive any fur. Not even by mail or courrier.
