Absolutely not needed,i agree with You.I was planning today to go canoeing-and the Guelph lake will be closed til 10 am........Thanx for the heads up.
At the other hand,with the summer coming,and with people on the edge with this COVID,they could consider opening more areas of the Park(Parks).
The Park is always full in the season,and this time only maybe 20% of the Park is open....?!This fact may contribute(without need-but quite likely)
The problem is the disrespect people are showing to each other and to the conservation areas. Not social distancing properly puts pressure on the GRCA staff. Leaving a mess everywhere and going into non open areas is unacceptable. As they stated, if things don’t improve they will be forced to shut things down again.
