Just returned from metalake lodge north of Nakina.We were the only guests there and the first to fish the lake this year.There was 4 of us and a guy who works at the camp.The owner who is American was not there.We caught 1,074 walleye and probably 50 slime buckets.We flew out Saturday morning with no new. guests arriving .There were a couple of guys flying to a Luenberger outpost but that was it.It was surreal to be on the lakes with zero boat noise .The only downfall was we generally go American Plan but with the dining room closed we took our own food.
