Husqvarna man........

No longer.
I swear I don’t know what happened. lol
I never had any problems with my Husqvarna 266 XP or my 257.
Over the years I ended up buying a Stihl MS 38 weed eater, Stihl MS 170 chainsaw for the atv, Stihl professional brush cutter. (460).
Now after 22 years, my 257 was still going strong but I figured I would keep it part time and buy a new saw.
I ended up picking up a Stihl MS 261.
Husky dealer didn’t have the 550 XP Mark II I wanted and didn’t know when he would get one.
Stihl had a great fall sale, the rest is history......

I own a lot of stihl tools, fs130r, br200, hs48c, kombi km91r w all attachments, ms211....all great tools. But my old Rancher 55 is still the my go to chainsaw.

That one looks unused, too pretty for a husky :)

Grandpa had a 55 Husky, my uncle had one as well but was given his Dad's Stihl and he cannot deal with a big saw anymore so he passed the Husky on to me. I have to get it tuned up and running right but Covid messed that all up.

It doesn't matter husky or still neither will let you down . The other brands just let them pass by as they are not worth the bother.

Nice. Yes that looks brand new.
My 257 looks like it went to war compare to that. I did use it a lot in the last 22 years. Just burned close to 30 litres since spring.

Never had much use for Husky saws. Single piston ring on them instead of two. Cylinder scoring on the ones I used unless you ran them richer at 40:1. I'd take a Stihl or Jonsered saw over them any day.

I was about to mention the Jonsered too. Its one of the top line saws as well. Sometimes its hard to tell whos copying who, Jonsered or Husky as they look so much alike.

That might be because Husqvarna bought Jonsered a while back.

In Northern Ontario Husqvarna ruled back in the chainsaw days. I can’t say I had any problems with them in the 35 plus years that I used them. I think I slowly switched over to Stihl because their sales deals are always very attractive.
