Good morning hunt
Arriving a little late, I finished setting up just after 7am....Not that many birds flying around in my hunting permission spots but it didn't take long, just a few minutes after setting up before the first flock of 8? birds came in.... 2 stayed behind with me :) ...... A little while later a single came in and landed just outside my decoy spread.... I left him for a live decoy.... After a few more minutes a double came in, wings open ready to land into the spread, knocked both of them down.... Now it was about 7:30 and 4 birds down....
Didn't see or hear anything for a while so I went to work cleaning the birds while keeping an eye/ear open for any incoming geese..... Had a few more birds do a drive by but that was it.... Cleaned breasts and legs all done ready to go home by 8:45 am...
I forgot to take a picture of my spread but basically.... I was hiding in that treeline with about 18 decoys out to my right and 6 decoys to my left leaving 30 yds opening between the two groups, wind at my back...
A few legs in the crockpot for dinner and breasts are sliced up and in the fridge :)

Very nice. A few good meals out of them.
I see that field is cut. Looks like a lot of crops have been coming off in the past few days so things will only get better!
