I was hauling in the drift sock last night and couldn’t believe this guy was inside, he must have actively tried to stay in there while I retrieved it. I pulled it up gently and managed to get both ends closed off and actually got him in the boat !

We let him go but my 9 year old was certainly entertained

That has to be pretty uncommon, cool find
What kind of fish was it?
