I'm afraid it's not in limbo, I think it's full steam ahead. They won't be "buying back" they'll just take them after the amnesty is over. Remember when was the last time a Liberal kept a promise. TC

You would have thought any intelligent government would have had some good Liberal entrepreneur lineup to takeover the buyback program, before they even hatched the gun ban, with the idea of a buyback. Another emotion driven idea, without any rational forethought. We Canadians are truly blessed. They get the job done and any fallout is dealt with after the fact.. Wouldn’t it have been a good idea to put a few feelers out to see if there were any businesses interested in helping with a buy back program before rushing head long into the legislation. . . .

HEY GunNut sir, would your businesses like to finance a gun buyback in the range of a couple billion? You get to buy up all the Prohibited guns on our list( which keeps growing everyday) with no way to recover the cost or make any profit. You can't sell them to export, because of the UN deals we signed, and also the fact that they are pretty much useless to any Military, Paramilitary or police force in the world..
