Deer down!
So this morning was perfect.
736am see three deer come
from a hill at my 11 o’clock position.
work their way into my bush from the field. Start walking parallel from left to right. 100 yards out. The lead doe turns and heads my way towards my 7oclock. Get in to about 15-20 yards and start turn right. The lead doe gets behind some garbage and I don’t see an easy spot to take her without making to much movement to shift myself. I decide on the second doe. Pretty much equal in size. Get my scope on the front of her chest and wait for the final step forward. As soon as she takes it I let the shot go. Direct hit! See blood immediatley and they all jet to my right. My doe is dragging her right leg and got the shifty happening. This is 744am. Get down call my brother and dad over to help me track. Blood got thin and couldn’t find any for about 4-5 minutes but looked down the ways a bit and saw her piled up! I’ve seen 7 deer in two weeks now. All bush hunting. No fields.
