I'm not sure how many other social media sites offer "like".....but according to her she has had '1,000's ....well I scrolled thru her FB page and there are a whole lot less than she claims...

So far, the only thing in social media has been a single press release outlining the bill. I have received negative reactions and even some more or less threatening insults. However, never in my entire political career have I received so many compliments, including an outpouring of 3,250 "likes" in response to my article on the introduction of my bill. Never in my life have I been so liked.

Yikes, after trolling around her facebook page it seems like she is a nobody . I post re bills231 has 5 likes and the other has 3.. she is utterly full of crap and herself it would seem. Never the less she has a dangerous mindset and is no friend to hunters or sport shooters and I hope this bill is crushed.
The left was furious when the registry was stopped. Everybody with a brain realized that even if they weren't legally allowed to keep it alive that it also had never been completely wiped out.Even if LEO had no more access to it off CPIQ it doesn't mean the database didn't exist anymore. I have no doubt a coalition government will attack us. If god help us either of those two parties actually pulled off a majority Canada would end up with gun laws similar to Australia.
C-19 didn't dictate that the police could no longer access the registry through CPIC. It dictated that the records were to be destroyed. The RCMP has confirmed that the records were destroyed, with the exception of the records for Quebec, which were retained by court order because of pending litigation, and which are still being retained by a different court order because of separate pending litigation.
Anyone who retained copies of the registry data committed a crime. That's going to make it a little difficult to use all those copies so many are convinced must still exist out there.
When exactly did Rock admit that, and what exactly did he say?
I also forgot about ole Axeworthy.
"I came to Ottawa last year, with the firm belief that the only people in Canada who should have firearms are police officers and the military."
- former Justice Minister Alan Rock (currently the Health Minister of Canada)
"...disarming the Canadian public is part of the new humanitarian social agenda."
- Foreign Affairs Minister Lloyd Axeworthy at a Gun Control conference in Oslo, Norway in 1998.
So, will his new gun laws - aimed primarily at law-abiding firearms owners - reduce the crime rate even further? Rock is hesitant to give a conclusive answer: "I think it will help. (But) I don't want to overstate it. I don't want to give any guarantees."
I think Anne also made a few before the UN.
I know what the letter of the law says but i have no faith in that being what happened at all. I have many close friends in LE who confirmed that search function stopped working for them on CPIQ. As for the RCMP following the law, I have no doubt at all that they did not, who is going to investigate them and prosecute them? I would guess almost every Provincial police force made copies of that database somehow.
