Well your post stated you can go "way the hell up north" I was wondering why you posted from Port Bolster. I do not agree with you that there is plenty of work up north maybe you can give us examples from employment ad,s of all these available job postings....Quote:

Yea I can there as well .There is a house I'm interested in 84 thousand. 4 bed 2 bathroom . Also I know there is work there. Could of already lined up 20 an hr 40 to 50 hrs a week. . I choose to stay here awhile . I'm thinking about the investment of renting a house tho.
As for the kids working it's called they grow up get their license and find a job just like everyone else. Plenty of work up north you just have to be willing g to work. My mom lives in the far north she is bugging me to move up even jobs up 30 an hr.

There are plenty of kids who grow up in the country side, go to university in TO, London or Kingston and do what they want afterwards. You don't screw them up because you don't live in a city, far from that.Quote:

I'm a licensed carpenter in Toronto. Renovations and additions mostly. Looking to leave the gta for good in a year and a half. Housing under 200k and a few acres is what we're looking for. My biggest concern is not having enough work. Probably just being paranoid and I have talked to tradesmen in the muskokas, kawarthas-even as far as Prince Rupert B.C. who say there is work for those who want to work.
