The title implies the ticket was issued due to an infraction of social distancing, but in fact the write up and ticket posted clarify it is disobeying a provincial order. The guy challenged the officer, after being told to get out ... the signs are posted, officer comes up says get out, he pushes back by saying, "come on, it's an empty parking lot" ... it's all in the article ... that guy just provided any judge enough evidence to raise that fine and enforce it all he wants. Sorry, don't mean to type all this ... but I want to make sure everyone understands, I wasn't there, but I don't think we're having to guess too much here either.
