2 minute difference today against https://nrc.canada.ca/en/research-de...un-calculator/ I'd use timeanddate.com for my morning hunt and then the National Research Council for my evening hunt...
iHunter app is one minute early on sunrise today but is the same as NRC for sunset. I usually use the app but do like to double check with a government resource just in case every now and then. I haven't been sitting in the boat or blind and had something walk/fly right at legal time yet.
I do recall my first time duck hunting in NB when I was 17 years old. I was using my Baikal 20 gauge single shot, the first gun I bought when I turned 16.
Anyways it was extremely foggy that morning and people were not only shooting before legal time I still could not see my hand in front of my face. I have no idea what these people were shooting at.
I use the weather network for shoot times. Never looked into anything else...hmmmm
Well I was out at Marlborough forest today off Paden road looking for grouse and rabbits didn't see anything. Took a drive down Heapy Road to see if anyone was camping and duck hunting but nobody was there. Someone must have shot a few geese as I saw a lot of feathers in a pile.
