It was 5 years and I was off as well, so it wasn't because you were Liberal.
No actually the 7th December 2010 was the date noted on my record. What was your crime GW.
GW you know fine well this place was a Tory bastion for the longest time and Liberals were crucified every time they spoke on here, its actually really easy for the moderators to read this but the fact it went on so long indicated they approved of it in the past.Fast forward to today and the OOD has publicly written they want no more of it, its actually very generous they even provide the off topic section and politics on a hunting forum, most do not.
I won't or can't speak for the others but as a former mod on this site I personally allowed it to go on because I didn't, don't and never will embrace censorship even though many of the comments in those older threads ran against the rules of the site. Being a conservative and not a liberal lover never entered into my decisions but I wasn't that naive to see that a few liberals just came on to stir the pot.
There is where the rub is my friend, the Conservatives on here emboldened by numbers call it stirring the pot when a Liberal voter speaks out, but when they speak out they are voicing their opinion.I will say for you that you were one of the better moderators on here but many of the older threads should have been censored before they got shut down, the harm to the spirit of the membership was already done.
Gil. you beat me to it......SB...What I comprehend by your comments are...... those of us of Conservative ideology, are in the majority on this 'Ontario Out of Doors' forum. Liberals are in the minority on this site. If you try to defend the Liberals or debunk Conservative policy , or say anything good at all, about any ' Liberals' , you must be here to, 'stir the pot'.
No , I said I enjoy watching the cons. heads explode when I rebut some of their anti- lib comments. That I enjoy it when I do 'win' some discussions. (My perspective). You are the one who said I am a troll and only come on this site to stir the pot. (Because I do not agree with the majority). That is your perspective. I see it as enjoying myself, while-when I call out their bias.
