The statement says nothing about "choice." It only confirms the obvious that "herd immunity" is not dependent on a vaccine.

There are two ways to achieve "herd immunity: Infection or injection. Now that over 70% of eligible Canadians have done their part (82% in Ontario) it falls to the anti-vaxxers to do theirs and become infected with the COVID virus so we can achieve "herd immunity."

Based on current Canadian statistics we will lose at least 1.7% of vaccine refuseniks and perhaps more when the health care systems runs out of spots for them. Meanwhile the deaths possibly associated with the COVID vaccine in Canada represent 0.0003% of the shots delivered.
