I think the declining numbers of unvaccinated being infected by Omicron is an indication that the Virus had done what the Government coercion and the vaccine weren't able to do..They've been infected, recovered, and now have developed an Omicron resistant immune system.

Of the cases reported today, Of the cases reported today, 13,436 ( 84 % ) infections were found in those who are vaccinated, 2,278 (14%) were in unvaccinated individuals.

Would like to add that after firing 1000’s of healthcare workers for refusing the jab, the CDC just said it’s fine for nurses to keep working if Covid positive and “asymptomatic”

Sounds like they finally realized the staffing shortage is a far bigger problem than the virus, and that inadequate care gets people killed. Missed screenings get people killed. There is way more to health care than just virus management.

Infection rates only tell part of the story. 35% of non-ICU hospitalizations are among the not fully vaccinated. In ICUs they represent 67% of the COVID cases.

The new variant might infect the vaccinated at the same rate as the anti-vaxxers but having the shots means you are less likely to be hospitalized and much less likely to end up in an ICU.

LOL. In addition to being able to circulate in society with my QR code it is reassuring to know that even if infected I will be far less likely to end up being intubated in an ICU than you and your anti-vaxxer cohorts.

Here’s some stats for you…. 13 people in hospital at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, 12 are unvaccinated . One more death Thursday, an unvaccinated, 67 year old I worked with for almost 30 years…..a staunch antivaxxer….I’ll take my chances with the vaccines !!
