Maybe, just maybe one day both sides will sit down and be willing to find area's where...
As is, just mention the need to find savings (see also credit downgrades).....and concern about people who gross for arguments sake 75,000 (still way better off than the mean) who don't have pensions and.........

Whats wrong with some of them getting less in compensation? Whats good for the gander, not so good for the goose?
Does a person who earns say 150,000 (ms Wynnes definition of rich) really need a tax payer funded DBP? Does a person who earns 500,00 or more need it?
Do people who earn say 100,000 really need tax payers to fund half of their retirements?
Someday maybe politicians and Unions (note theres no party distinction) will actually put the lowly "peons" first whether they are in Private or Public.
Pretty sure if I was a nurse these days earning say 60k, and staring at my pink slip. I'd wonder why Teachers, or why 111,000 people who earn north of 100,000 need a pension paid for by me.
