You tell me what is appealing about living in a hole like Mississauga and I'll tell you about Burlington

Burlington has everything you would want in a place to live. I am 40 minutes from my deer stands, 2 blocks from the lake and I can walk downtown to all the pubs and restaurants in downtown Burlington. I have a big lot with a fire pit and the best part is.......it is NOT Mississauga, Milton, Brampton and definitely NOT Toronto.

The Liberal riding.......everyone makes a mistake every now again. Like Justin she does not know if her arse from a hold in the ground. Definitely a 1 trick pony.

I grew up in SW Ontario, I know what it is to have access to everything at any time, sure you have to wait at the hospital if you are not serious, but at least you have the ability to get to a hospital. This is not the case in a good chunk of Canada, when you are seriously injured or having a heart attack in most places in this country you do not simply have a specialized hospital around the block. The original post here with respect to guns and suicide completely glosses over the fact that access to mental health care in Canada, especially to rural citizens is almost non-existent, and worse for those who are of limited means.

41..... Would that be the City of Burlington in which you reside? So people from there would be....... citiots? lol.

In answer to your first question I suppose I could write something like this:

Average home prices rose by $140,265 in Mississauga, $111,183 in Halton Hills, and by $106,657 in the City of Toronto. Burlington saw an increase of $94,896 from June 2019, for a total of $872,398.

Care to explain the exodus out of Toronto then. In the downtown core of Burlington most new reno's are Toronto people wanting to get out of of the city? If you take the $872k and double it you 'might' find a place in core area. So you are actually telling me you want to live in Mississauga? Everyone I know that lives there are there because of proximity to work and cannot wait to get out of dodge - you must me the exception.

Well thank you for the civilized reply.

So for me living in Mississauga for the past 35 years its home,I have most of my original neighbours and its closer proximity for family to get to work.Burlington is very nice and in fact I am out there every week at my daughters place who just built a new home in Cedar Springs on a 50 acre parcel of land.In fact I was looking out that way but found the prices to high for what I want,which would be a small bungalow on some acreage.
So I think younger couples are leaving Toronto because they are starting to have families and Toronto does not have the schools and they want more space.
