Would not Mulroney be at least partially responsible? The FTA is part of the reason we have less manufacturing in Canada than before. We send them the ingredients and they send us back the finished product. Caring about others , or not , is not the refuge of one particular party. The GTA was where most of those manufacturing jobs were lost.

Don't know if Ford is losing votes since a liberal or NDP government would be worse (just check at the federal level). However, there are a lot of people who voted for Ford who are really PO'd with him right now. Rural people. Business owners. People that are the core of the Ontario Conservative party. I'm hearing a lot of "if we wanted liberal government we'd have voted for the liberals".Quote:
