The truckers I’ve met today have been peaceful, kind and patriotic.
I’ve not seen anyone dressed up in blackface or other racist costumes.

The dancing on the memorial to the unknown soldier was not acceptable and if it was a Trucker nobody should ever hire him again. This is not acceptable. at all.
Media says there are swastika flags and confederate flags being flown, I have not heard from any real person who has actually seen or photographed them.
As to the Terry Fox monument having the flag on it, I am kind of undecided as he was a man who stood for all Canadians and I do believe he would approve of this peaceful protest.
Now for the woman dancing on the Unknown Soldier Monument, that is disgraceful and hopefully social media will be able to identify her. If this government is going to keep with their divisive behavior, then this women is a prime example of someone who could be put on the international stage. If she believes dancing on a public monument is OK, then it should be OK to ID her as well.

On the bright side, no violence or destruction of public property.
Obviously you were not there based on your biased opinion.
Today is day 2 and more good things to come.
Please keep reading the Toronto star for your updates while we at ground zero hold down the fort.
Nurses, doctors, lawyers, small business owners, etc are all on site to end the unlawful mandates.
But, go ahead and spin my words all you want.
It is not going to change anything one bit.
I was downtown last night and the protest was peaceful and respectful - as respectful as it can be with the thousands that arrived for the rally.

The reports of the homeless shelters and food banks are IMHO blown out of proportion to appease a particular agenda. There was no vandalism and no violence and people were very respectful to first responders. Reading the news and walking out and about leads me to believe do NOT believe everything that is reported to you on the news.
I ordered take out at an Indian place at Dalhousie and Rideau and it was opened and very busy - most shops were closed except the restaurants and they were going gangbusters with line-ups out the door and he was getting tipped very well because he remained open to service the protesters. These guys probably have not seen that kind of business since the lockdowns started.
Things are pretty quiet this AM but I expect them to gear up again this evening. I did have a woman approach me as I was taking my dog for a walk asking me if I know anywhere that she could get a room for the night. I assume some of the protesters did not work out all the details or she was separated from her group.
Yup, there is a photo of a confederate flag. Definitely the wrong place and in poor taste if it is at the protest and not photoshopped.
CBC is now raising the issue of the smell of diesel fuel in the air. This is definitely out of hand now. (tongue in cheek)

Editted as a new photo was added after I posted showing a flag with a truck on the middle of a flag similiar to a confederate flag
