Re validation of the licence, Goodale in introducing the bill for 2nd reading has promised a 24 hr online portal and no firearm info requested or retained for NR transfer.
So that part seems not too painful.

From what Goodale stated,even though dealers must keep their sales records for 20 years,the government will not be storing the data,plus,the Police still need a warrant to access that data......supposedly......just in case.:( It remains to be seen that when Police ask for the info without a warrant,if that will be considered being "unco-operative" leading to issues with business licensing down the road if you know what I mean.:mad:
