Carbon Tax increases NOT put on hold

Very true, but don’t blame those that are now in their Autumn Years. We paid what was our share at the time. And we also have kids that we know have it much worse. I too took the path of austerity early in life t to allow me to have ,what I do now. Even though I can afford it now,I still have basic cable and phone plans. Basic cars etc. Nothing fancy in my life. I can buy what I want now, because I didn’t when I was younger.

I can “blame” them or more specifically their unions, for being greedy sons of es, and not comprehending what it’s doing to the working class.

Well JBEN you and I are about the same age, basically grew up in the same era with the same mortgages and house prices and everything else. We even had the same illness , I had to stop work at 48 years old with three kids and a wife to keep and when I had 30 years on I was shown the door. No more wages. Take your pension and go sick or not.

Just trying make Gilroy understand what has happened. Like I said you 2 are fairly well of compared to the vast majority of Canadians under 50 lol.

I'm under 40 and have seen what most Canadians are facing. I have also seen a house in the 80s for 50 thousand now 600 thousand plus. But the wages have not gone up like that.

Well fortunately the ozone layer did get fixed with all countries in the World agreeing and getting it done.

Budgets will get blown in this time of the pandemic, I have not witnesses anybody refusing the aid or sending back any cheques have you?
