Reading an article in OOD last month that mentioned the best time to shoot coyotes if you really want to help newborn deer is during the spring. I do see the odd coyote while turkey hunting. Maybe its time to try out a turkey load on a coyote? The month of May is fawning time so shooting the local coyote might improve fawning.
