Well I, am glad we cleared that one up, now you will have to connect that to Justin Trudeau and the Liberal party.

I dealt with people like your wife's father some 45 years ago, whole housing projects with at least 15% of the occupants fully engaged in that behavior and many of the fully involved in the criminal lifestyle. It was generational and had involved at least one generation even before that, so mainly white welfare bum's.

In that time period we had every stripe of Federal and Provincial Governments, from Conservative to Liberal to NDP.
None of them solved the problem's and it was a revolving door for criminal's, it was then and its the same now.

Some blame the Charter of Right's, some blame the number of lawyer's in the system, some blame the lawyer's that draft the laws with loop holes you can drive a truck through.

We had a war on drug's that saw black folk's jailed for possession of crack cocaine, but white folks getting a pass for possession of cocaine.

Still hasn't changed only gotten worse.

Drugs have only gotten harder it's a mess out there. Many have no clue of what's actually happening it's sad kinda . I know many that I went to school with that are toothless from the meth. Many in their 30 all over .

You can see it with all the clinic's everywhere.

I would suggest everyone keeps up to date with the growing list of firearms or they will be in shock when they have to start handing in some they own.

If gun control works why hasn’t it so far? Why must we continue to add more and more gun control? My comments were made to try and change some people’s mind that any gun control isn’t going to help Toronto or other big cities with gun problems. It was not to show how incompetent the Liberals are, but thanks to those who have pointed it out. Remember 'To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.'
Gun owners of one type of firearm should support and gun owners of other types, even if they don’t own the firearm, it is a continual divide and conquer here. We still can hunt some big and small game with pistols in Ontario but most hunters don’t realise this and probably wouldn’t support it.

You know full well that these Judges are selected by what ever party is in power through the Governor General -in-Council.


But I do agree when Harper was in power he though he was the Fuhrer.


Jurists call for apology goes unanswered
McLachlin told reporters that she's ready to get on with the business of the court, despite unanswered calls from the International Commission of Jurists for Harper to retract his comments and for Harper and MacKay to apologize.

"I'm not going to comment on that, I have said what I have to say on that subject and at this point I think the important thing is to turn the page and get on with the important business of our court," she said.

The Geneva-based group of judges and lawyers was asked to looked into the government's comments in a letter of concern from Canadian lawyers and academics. The ICJ said in response McLachlin's integrity has been impugned by the public criticism from the government.

"The criticism was not well founded and amounted to an encroachment upon the independence of the judiciary and integrity of the chief justice," the commission said in a written opinion.

Harper's director of communications said last month the Prime Minister's Office had seen the letter but had nothing to add. MacKay's office also had no comment.

Bar association president Fred Headon said there are lingering concerns that comments made by Harper and MacKay have hurt the confidence of Canadians in the judicial system.

I am not even a firearms owner and totally agree . Any firearms owner should support all of them not just some of them the ones they see fit. How does one better understand it ,if it's not aloud how do Canadians inspire new designs and models when it's prohibited. Only so much one can do with what they aloud to work with.

Why are they banning guns that kill far less than many other guns. ?


It's brought on by fear not evidence that they kill more.

Simply because you have to look at the Canada wide picture.

You have to consider the fact that we are now entering a period of political unrest and the ban is simply to disarm extremist / militia groups and prevent an uprising. Nothing to do with gang bangers in downtown Toronto. These type of guns appeal to some more than others due to functionality. Personally, I have no problem with any on the list as I regard firearms as a tool and ownership is an individual choice. I rarely take more than one shot at a deer so a bolt action is sufficient for me but do accept other peoples choices.
There is a considerable amount of P.O.ed people in Alberta at the moment and loudly voicing their opinions. Don't rely on MSM to report any of it. You have to dig a little deeper.

It depends what you mean by "support." I belong to the CCFR and have donated in support of their legal action. I've done so fully in the belief that the banned guns will stay that way but if the current round is made more difficult and expensive it helps us keep the guns we are allowed to own.

Where the line is drawn is illegal activity or the implied threat of violence. The ignoramuses who demand non-compliance, shout "Molon Labe" or mutter about "cold dead hands" deserve only derision and ridicule.
