Trudough has bigger problems stacking up since that debacle. The India tickle trunk tour/vacation and the BC/Alberta NDP fued. He is also no doubt worried about losing Ontario and Auntie Wynne who held his hand and got him elected. He now needs to prioritize his screw ups.
I doubt Stanley even wants to pickup a firearm again.

Now beingis an excessive sentence, IMO, for just a storage violation. Especially after the court heard that the guns were typical farm guns, tools used for varmint control and hunting.Quote:

I guess they wanted to send a message...but the optics are clear, this trail, although separate legally, was tainted by the first trial...
Note that this excessive sentence was a joint submission to the court.
That means Stanley's lawyer sat down with the Crown in advance and worked out a sentencing proposal both sides thought fair.
