Our system is good as it is. We cannot prevent every miss use of the system. The murderer in this case used illegal weapons in an illegal way. This is the biggest issue in Canada. Illegal gun smuggling and use.
Blair and Trudeau should spend more time on the majors and less time on the minors.

How about we jail the criminals who use guns instead of turning them loose. Harper tried to pass laws about minimum sentences for gun crimes and the weak kneed virtue signalling judges wouldn’t abide by it. Attacking law abiding gun owners uses up scarce resources and borrowed money while the criminals watch from inside their tinted windows laughing.
You will never disarm the criminals. Attacking legal gun owners makes as much sense as amputating your left foot if the right one has gangrene.

Well I guess you guys need to get in there some Judges that are not weak kneed.Harper was in power for years,got nothing done.His tough on crime stance was a joke,two full terms in office playing around with the gun laws how did that help.
