On a more serious note a 180 gr 30 caliber bullet travelling at 2500 fps does not care what platform it was fired from. It is just as capable of making a clean shot regardless of how many more rounds are sitting below it, or weather it was manually pushed into the chamber with a bolt action, or fed in automatically with a spring behind a carrier. Just like everything else over time things change. I have never fired a black powder rifle, and I don't have any interest in it, but I fully 100% support those that choose to hunt with one. If we don't come together as a united group as gun owners and hunters then slowly we will all lose. I would very much like it if future generations could carry on hunting regardless of what type of rifle they use.
