He was dressed as a rcmp officer. I understand what your saying. But still think he would get you
Maybe that’s how he got the female officer she thinking he was one of them

1. As crime stats point out, time and time again. Most violent crime in this country is not committed with guns.
Reply. Tell that to the folks in the GTA and most large urban center's were there is a homicide DAILY by guns.No kidding just watch the telly.
2. Further delving into those stats reveal that of those that are, the majority ( more than 80%) are committed with guns that were not part of the legal supply chain, nor licensing.
Reply. This one might be true but the above are still dead.
3. Those stats also reveal that the majority of firearm deaths by legal firearms in this country are by suicide, not by violence.
Reply. So spouses shot by their husband's are a urban legend, students shot at Ecole Poly,RCMP Officers all over the country, mosque mass shooting in Quebec last year, shooting on Parliament Hill...................do you want some more I'am just getting warmed up?
It's getting quite old that the press, and the govt when there is an incident involving firearms default to calling for more gun control legislation.
Reply. Not old it was promised in a General Election last October,so pretty new.
We as a country do not need more control measures put in place.
Reply. So can I assume you are OK with what you see on the news daily.
The RPAL holder who has an AR15, or Beretta M9 pistol are not the problem, nor have they ever been. Yet that is what is pointed to each and every time.
Reply. I do not see it is pointed out each and every time, this is an over exaggeration, could you post a few headlines where it mentions these guns specifically. As a hunter I am not interested in any of these guns.
No, we have an issue with our borders, and the proliferation of guns on the other side of them....but no one seems to want to tackle that one.
Reply. Well on this forum we have plenty of NRA supporters who would like to see an American gun culture up here and probably have no problem with guns coming over the boarder.Just ask them.
Oh, and the "free press"? You mean the ones who received $600 Million from the Federal Govt as "stimulus"? The one's who aren't reporting all the details that are coming out, yet international news sources are? You know how we can tell the gun control question was sourced, and approved prior to asking? Trudeau had a response that didn't begin with Umm, or Ahhh, as he formed it. It's becoming very apparent from a few years of watching him how to tell if a question was off script. ( As a former LEO, I'm pretty sure you knew this too).[/QUOTE]
Reply. After the worse gun massacre in Canadian History would it not seem a little strange even to you the press DID NOT ASK THOSE QUESTIONS.
Because if they did not ask those questions the first thing that would be said on this forum is 'HEY DID YOU NOT NOTICE THE COVER UP WHEN THEY WERE TALKING TO TRUDEAU ABOUT COVID NOBODY ASKED ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SHOOTINGS"
Gilroy.
Arguing by assumption of position is a juvenile debate structure.
Making an assumption, and stating what a person is, or is not ok with, to bolster your position is fallacy.
I will state the following.
I am not ok with gun crime. The Federal Government's attempts, and mis-handling that particular file is what is at issue.
The stats I have cited were off, as I was familiar with Stats Cans 2013 figures, I was not aware that they re-did them in 2016, however link is attached.
Of all violent crime in 2016, 3% was committed with a firearm. In those cases, a third of the guns are recovered, and of those, only a third can be found the have been registerable, or able to be traced.
The RCMP has even admitted years ago that firearm related crimes are greatly inflated stats ( Mauser SFU 2013).
Yes. Gang related homicides are up. Yes, those predominate the crime stats for firearms.
The full picture is that our current firearms laws are working just fine. It is the other side of the equation where the smuggling, import, and black market of same is having the most detrimental impact on Canadian society.
