Messing with one of those things borders on collective insanity. What moron would even conceive of such lunacy? There's more safer ways to shut down a power grid than blowing up a NPP. Is it even possible that Putin, his Generals and the average Russians really are dumber than a bag of hammers? Are we really giving them too much credit for being overly intelligent?
Sure does look like much of the world is sitting on pins and needles wondering when and how this conflict ends. I think much of the world thought that the economic sanctions might have encouraged the Russian people to rise up against the establishment but it’s either not happening or slow to happen. Maybe there was hope that the wealthy business owners would hold some weight or influence with Putin, but that is slow to show progress. All the while, Russia continues to cause chaos and death in Ukraine, world leaders must be thinking what’s next.
The world is fine supplying Ukraine with the tools to defend itself, but even this tactic is just an investment with unsure results. Will everyone sit idle and accept Ukraine’s demise? If so then why the loans and weapons in the first place? Is there an imaginary line Russia must cross before serious action is taken? If so, what will it be? Will nuclear arsenals actually be used? Are we looking at the possible start to ww3?
I have many questions, I’m sure we all do, but few clear answers. I think we’re sitting in a fog, not being able to see the path forward. Sure it doesn’t directly affect us now, but the “what if” factor grows larger with each day this European conflict continues.
Outwardly,NATO is seen as deliberately allowing Ukraine to fall which may be true, but,I can't believe the west hasn't developed a "worst case" strategy to stop further Russian aggression in it's tracks should Putin decide to keep moving into neighboring former SSR countries that are now part of NATO. I believe we're seeing the opening shots of WW3.

Well in all the previous revolutions in Russia and purges the intellectuals were the first to be killed, how is it that a people can suffer through Lenin, Stalin, be murdered by the millions and still end up with a Putin? Even now half the older population actually believe him.
