Nice....what gold course in St. Andrews did you play? Definitely on my bucket list.

Lagavulin 16. Single Malt Islay. Very Peaty. If you like smoky peaty you will like it. Might not be what you are looking for.

If you want a smooth easy drinking whiskey that's not scotch than my choice is Maker's Mark.

I've seen it,but,never tried it. It takes me about 4 months to get through a bottle of scotch. I tend to keep that to myself. Mrs.T can't stand it.:D Maybe,I'll try some next time. Thanks.

I have played them all, some many times. My Father in law was from there. His brother was a caddy on the Old Course. Our family has attended 6 Open Championships including 5 on the Old Course.
