Ps the science is bull crap. The science says travel is a problem that's how it spreads .
Well why have 1500 flights left to go visit a sunny beach destination since October. ?
Seems like we have ignored the science all along .

The fact you CAN catch it twice bodes badly for the effectiveness and duration of any vaccine and this one has had no significant testing of any real duration. In the past vaccines have been shown to actually make 2nd occurrences much worse and been pulled so let's hope they did better this time... but we may not know that for 2 or 3 years.
The general trend of new cases is down and the deaths usually lag a week or two behind are still on the increase, so hopefully that will sharply drop as the vulnerable get the vaccine.

Yesterday is the 1st anniversary of the WHO saying there is no evidence the Wuhan Pneumonia was person to person transmittable.... even though the evidence was long out there. As I write this the WHO investigative team has finally got approval to go investigate and is sitting in quarantine in China for another week (total 14 days before they can get out). So at this point it would seem the WHO conclusion will be what China tells them to say.

Guess most of the ones that didn't follow instructions and gave more people the vaccine instead of instead of saving them for their second dose could be in craps creek lol.
It's better to inject more so it can be done faster but wait a minute when will they get a second dose ?

Well masks have accurately been shown to protect those around the wearer for a long time. I had some N95 masks I used about a year ago because I wanted to protect myself, they work good for that BUT usually have an exhale vent so there is no protection for those around the wearer. They are meant to protect the wearer in contaminated environments and if the environment is dust etc. contaminated no need to filter the exhale. People didn't and many still don't understand the types and uses.
About 14 months ago though wearing a mask into a store or bank would have brought the SWAT team out, the only take away from this I hope is that people will start to act like Japan and if they do have to go out and feel sick they wear a cheap protect THEM mask. The distancing and isolation are big factors but masks are also probably responsible for a significant impact in reducing the flu and cold etc. numbers that have been reported.
There is a difference between a properly fitted and properly disposed of N95 and a bandana pulled up over someone's face that goes in and out of their pocket.
Again now the government of Ontario wants to wait 50days instead of the 21 day recommendation period.
Probably brought on by his health officials I wouldn't put it past them now .

Yep, the vapour breathed out from the N95s I had did no filtering (exhale vented, many are), a bandana perhaps filtered 30% (guess) or more of the exhaled vapour.... and if you are out fox hunting on a cold day 90% because if you have ever breathed through a scarf it will freeze to your glasses, scarf, moustache/beard https://fiveablog.files.wordpress.co...vered-face.jpg :moose::moose:Quote:
