D-7, D-8 depending on the angle, B-2 depending on the distance, 40 yds or less. Will drop it like a rock. Would be interesting to see the shot placements if there was some way you could angle the deer shown species...

Dan Fitzgerald use to encourage an archery shot placement at the center of C,D, 5 and 6. The deer would just tip over, no tracking. He had a pile of videos where he'd hunt a woodlot out behind a Mcdonalds or a mall and couldn't afford the deer to travel far after the shot. Not a lot of room for error there but highly effective for the circumstances.
I'm a D/E-7/8 guy myself as I prefer to have my deer bleed out as much as possible. Most have gone no more than 50 yards and are relatively blood free.
D7 is the goal, but with a vertical bow it can take aiming a lot lower to get there
If I can, I’ll take a neck shot - C2. I’ve read a few articles that speak to a bundle of nerves at C6 and a shot there will anchor a deer in it’s tracks.
D-E7 D-E8 for me, I aim to make their heart mush. Did it 2 out of last 3 I shot.

Good thread.
E7 for me but I shot many A1.
This year I went F6 and it was a bit too much of a mess, he didn't go anywhere but the one whole shoulder was full of big chunks of bone

D7
Every deer Ive shot there has died quickly, most of them on the spot.
Im also printing that off and pinning it to the gun rack at the camp. Great chart
E6-7. Always trying to get just inside the "V".
