I think the unions are screwed trying to fight these mandates. They've always championed health and safety and this falls under that as far as companies are concerned. There's no way the unions can suck and blow at the same time without looking foolish. They're either in or their out.
The unvaccinated are 439 of today's 788 new cases or 55.7% and yet they represent less than 15% of the eligible population. Moreover, the unvaccinated are strictly limited in where they can go and are less likely to be in places where the virus might spread.Quote:

The ICU and hospitalization numbers are important because the unvaccinated get sicker if they are infected.
Certainly anti-vaxxers would prefer everyone be tested regularly because it protects them without having to get the shots. Meanwhile the majority who are vaccinated are unlikely to accept added tests just to protect anti-vaxxers.

ICU numbers are irrelevant..there is only 1 in Ottawa with a population of 1.5 million.

Maybe the company that makes this product should take some responsibility before we mandate their products.
Just a responsible thing to do the company should be liable for damages and adverse reactions.

The vaccinated are not immune but far better protected than vaccine refuseniks as shown by a new case rate among the unvaccinated that, relative to population, is 4x times greater and much higher rates of hospitalization. The higher infection rates are despite the non-vaccinated being excluded from many public venues such as restaurants, movie theatres, concerts, sporting events, etc.Quote:

- There will always be cases and new variants. Denying this comes at extreme cost, and case #'s themselves are irrelevant
- Civil liberties must be preserved for all
- Live life without fear
- Eat a healthy, balanced diet
- Exercise
- Get outside regularly
Our leaders should be exerting pressure on the international community to adopt this message.
But there are no leaders left. Just a vacuum filled by followers and copycats, manically scrambling to “do something” just to appear like they’re in charge.
