Here is my take some can make it happen others are mixed up in emotional thoughts and could be possible be used as a cry for help.
Some pull it off and try and make the changes put in the efforts and make it happen. Others don't and let themselves go dressed as a girl with a face full of hair.
I know a few who have pulled it off amazingly but then there are others who are just confused and do not put in what they are trying to achieve.
It's the times we are in do I respect it? the choice is theirs but don't expect me to call you Sally when you still look like Joe. People have the choice to do what they want should we reshape society around it not yet nope.
But in the end we must respect the decision they make. I know of half dozen like I said some can pull it off others can't.

Well Fox since you asked - If someone is gay it is unfortunate but having sexual relations with someone your own sex I consider it wrong - and I make no bones about it - why - because the Christian faith says so - if my daughter wants to be with a black man I would be reluctant to support it because differences in race, religion, education .etc are factors that will likely make marriage more difficult - why would my daughter want to be with someone of a different race - there are enough guys around that are of her same race - if a grandchild shows tendency to be different I would get help and do everything to discourage this tendency - if it was a boy I would make sure that he was involved in manly things and grew up with strong men with character - the last thing I would do is encourage him to be a sissy
As long as we are on the subject - I believe that all people should be treated with dignity no matter what the color of their skin is - when asked which of the commandments was most important Jesus said to love God with all your heart and soul and to love your neighbor as yourself - I try to live that way - but this doesn't mean that what a person does is always moral and correct and one should agree or tolerate everything -when something is wrong it should be pointed out - we just can't lay back and accept everything that people do for the sake of being a nice guy -
What is happening society is expected to tolerate everything and accommodate everyone who wants to be different to the detriment of society as a whole - I have been around awhile and have seen the gradual decay of the western world because of the lack of people with good moral character - yes I have my ideas as to what is right or wrong and I am not ashamed to admit it - hope that answers your questions
The good news in Canada is that devout Christians who think gays are "sissies," are horrified at the prospect of their daughter marrying a black man and get their jollies making fun of transgendered are a rapidly shrinking minority. Look at Freud. Back in the 60's to be a Freudian was to be on the cutting edge of the left wing avant-garde in America. When you look a little closer at the man and his life you realize he was a complete degenerate and a fraud who rationalized his incestuous appetites by projecting them on -- and encouraging them in -- other people...hence the classic Freudian line of men wanting to sleep with their mothers. We traded confession for 'psychoanalysis', prayer for meditation, and have ended up with some sort of bland, hollow pseudo-Buddhist neo-spirituality. Anxiety and depression are through the roof in many young people, even though we're so kind and tolerant now. Perhaps it's the so called progressives who fell victim to the ultimate form of societal control, because they are neither free nor thinking.
