QR codes and China: Human Race tracking tools

Updating this thread with some new info re Beijing Olympics.

Looks like China is requiring a mandatory app that is ostensibly for "health monitoring" for all Beijing Olympics participants, media and govt officials.
As you'd expect, it turns out to be spyware that records everything said.
