Agree with this exactly. I will wear them for awhile hunting but the white noise gets bothersome

I've tried the lower-end Walker Game Ears and found the performance and sound quality lacking. I use a set of Peltor/3M ComTac for hunting and clay target shooting. They aren't cheap but the sound is excellent. They are waterproof and I've used them in all types of weather.
