Well the rumour is that they give it to food banks but I am pretty sure that a few pounds ends up elsewhere. LOL

I’m pretty sure around here most of it goes to First Nation.
I thought there was regulations against wild-meat going to Food Banks???

Never been in any camp in this situation luckily. From what I have heard is that if you call and report the mistake you got the minimum. You try to hide it and they try and give you the maximum, a court date, and the judges know this.

I used to volunteer at a local food bank (not to be confused with a "soup kitchen") and we weren't allowed to distribute anything like meat except if it was in a can and the date had to be "best before". Health department and Social Services regulations.
