Be very careful with low BSL,especially,in the evening. BSL could drop through the night to a very dangerous level while you sleep. I'm 6'2" 220lbs. While everyone is different depending on height,weight and BMI,a BSL of 4.8 puts me into a bad place quite quickly. You may notice that with TV advertising and some MD's like to use 5.8 as an "ideal",it's important to remember that one size definitely does NOT fit all. Your local health care center may have diabetic clinics with dieticians ready to assist with food type,preparation and portion control. Reach out and talk to them. Their expertise really helps.
