A buddy of mine just got back from the east coast visiting his parents. Gas was $1.80 a litre. Do the math, $8.19 a gal
I'm not as old as Joe. I was paying 32 cents per Imperial gallon when I started driving. :)
I miss my suburban, but with the fuel consumption going to the US pre-covid it was more cost effective to buy a diesel, I can recall days when I swear I could see the gas needle dropping as I drove. Now with the recent diesel prices not dropping in the summer it became more cost effective to buy an EV. I still miss my suburban, it was so comfortable on the highway with the captains seats and air suspension.
bulk fuel surcharge for heavy loads just hit 45.71% of linehaul rates (Aug 31 FCA report) guess who gets to cover that additional cost?
ive been screaming lmfao. i have a gmc 2017 SLT V8.
to fill my tank up its within the rage of 170ish bucks give or take.
lets just say i havent filled it all the way up in a couple months now lol.
i throw 60 bucks at it and that lasts me maybe 4 or 5 days going back and fourth to work .
Supposedly more cuts to barrels per day and extending the already cut production soon. Expect more hikes in the future, then again in the spring from our own tax hikes.
