Lyme Disease And Canadians

It’s my understanding that the pill is not a vaccine and its benefits are short lived i.e. you can get Lyme disease after the effects of the pill wear off.

Valneva and Pfizer have developed a Lyme disease vaccine candidate, VLA15, that is currently in Phase 3 human trials in the USA.

Are you sure about this? I bought a gallon of it and spray my pants with it. Haven't picked up a tick since I've started this.

They used to test - back in 2017... There was one lab in Toronto for all of Canada. They don't test now in Ontario because Lyme is all over. Standard treatment is 200mg of doxycycline if a tick has been attached for more than 18 hours. You can get this at a pharmacy without a prescription. If you show any symptoms, the treatment is 100mg of doxycycline per day for 14 days. You'll need a prescription for this. BTW - the single 200mg treatment is not 100% - I've developed lyme after doing this and needed the 14 day treatment a couple of months later.

ummmmmmmmmmm the Lone Star Tick was discovered in 1758. So your stating that in 1758 we modified it to make you not like meat?

I am going to suggest to you we do not have that capability in 1758.

They are tabling the same prescription for their benefits.

Yes they have been around for hundreds of years but the disease I believe is fairly young. In 2008 only a hand full of cases
