a 7 day forecast is pretty useless, let alone a forecast 2 weeks ahead. I wouldn't be counting on any weather predictions.. which is why I don't trust these so-called climate models that predict the end of the world due to climate change. They have been proven very wrong (just look it up!)
Weather forecasting is fairly reliable about 2 or 3 days out. That's about it. Been tracking this for decades and this is what I have found.

How then all those freeloaders would make a living if there would be no climate models to prove their theories:ashamed:
Longer term forecasts are based on mathematical models and historical data. In fact, they predict behaviours (temp/precipitation) of weather systems that haven’t even formed yet. They have value for illustrating potential trends over larger areas but, I agree with you, they are not reliable for local forecasts.
I self-identify as a bit of weather junkie and this is one of the websites that I frequent:http://http://www.wxmaps.org/
I guess that's why they call it a "weather prediction" and not a "weather guarantee" ? LoL ! With the use of supercomputers and tons of past info fed into them they can only produce data based on the latest data put in, right ? Change one little thing and you get a whole new prediction but I will work with that because as the old saying goes; Forewarned is forearmed !
Here in 90B it looks like 8 or 9c daytime highs with 6 or 7c nights and fairly dry/sunny for our Controlled Deer Hunt.
Red skies in the morning sailers take a warning lol.
The local day to day has been horrible as of lately go to bed supposed to be sunny the next day and wake up to rain. Wacked .

They are calling for more normal Temps for the next little bit that should get the deer moving. . They must just use the trends as I read an article that said it would be cooler then past years but relatively to normal temperatures lol.
Maybe some snow for some north of the snow belt is its wet out.
