Great luck ! Sometimes you get lucky, unfortunately not often. I might suggest some well hidden trail cams would assist in identification.

wow amazing luck. or. maybe good officers ...
I had my stuff stolen last year on crown. with trail cam pics, none of the officers wanted the pics lol
With all these cases, its a blessing that u werent there when it happened, could have been worst.
Seems like there was more than one person involved. They drove in and I assume drove away in your Kabota as well.. Looks like you know who the culpert was and retribution should be in order... Burn the place down...
jesus christ. people have some serious issues.
where are you located species? i cant remember your exact wmu, never the less that whole county along with duffrin has a real issue with this. guys stealing massive farming equipment atvs etc. think its time you get some trail cameras thats sole purpose is security. 1 at the front gate/ driveway and a couple pointing at your cabin front back sides etc. or you could always get some wifi to the cabin and get an actual camera that will send you notifications with any movement it detects, though thats prob the more pricy option if you dont have any wifi at the cabin currently. maybe a wheel lock for the 4x4 would be worth it too.
also get or make a few signs saying "smile for the camera dumb A $$"
The shaming should go to the crown or prosecutor if the suspect has had the same charges previously. The question should be why these criminals just keep getting a slap on the wrist without much of a deterrent, just go back and do the same all over again.

Just got home with the RTV on the float. All the serial/VIN numbers have been removed and it has been painted mat black LOL. I am OCD about maintenance records which was helpful in proving it was mine and getting it released. Over the phone i was able to tell cops make, model and size/profile of the tires on the unit, make and model of the battery, and the location and size/shape of 2 dents in the roof that my son put on the unit 5 years ago. Was also able to give them the exact hours on it when i last saw it 9 days ago. That was more than enough for the cops regardless of no serial/VIN number. I also had the original bill of sale from 2009 confirming model.
So on Monday i will take it to the dealer and have them do a once over to make sure there is no hidden damage. It started fine and drove onto the trailer fine so not too worried.
