Not at least to have an usable ,comfortable and sturdy boot, especially usable while climbing trees -to use them saddle hunting.
Boot for reasonable good hiking-warmth-cold weather saddle hunting-waterproofenes is LaCrosse Alphaburly.
I use 15 years or so the same pair-800 gr insulation(nowadays they come up to 1600 gr)and works like a charm.
In very cold-thin and thick wool socks in the boot, that is it.
Worked in -20 moose hunt, works in saddle any winter(never saddle hunt though beyond -10 C).I love it.
